Professional Bookkeeper Contractor

Professional membership is for consulting bookkeepers that provide BAS related services. Professional members must have successfully completed a minimum Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting), a course recognised by AAPB or provide a written reference from a Tax Agent verifying works.

Professional members must provide current Professional Indemnity Insurance.


Accredited Employed

Accredited membership is for employed Bookkeepers who perform accounting or payroll duties. Accredited members must have successfully completed a minimum Certificate III course of study recognised by AAPB or provide a written reference from the employer’s Financial Controller or Tax Agent verifying works.


Business Owner

Business Owner membership is for those who self manage their financial records and do not provide BAS related services to clients.


Student

Student members must be currently enrolled in a minimum Certificate IV course of study recognised by the association. Student membership is valid for 18 months.


Associate

Associates are non-voting members with an interest in the Bookkeeping industry. This membership is open to individuals or entities. Please contact AAPB for more information.
