AAPB – About Australia’s pre-eminent Bookkeeper AssociationAt AAPB, our members are our number one priority. AAPB Ltd is the pre-eminent association for the bookkeeping industry. In 2004, AAPB was founded by a bookkeeper for bookkeepers, to specifically support the needs of bookkeepers. AAPB sets professional standards, educates members to improve skills and industry standards and works with Federal and State Governments on issues directly affecting members and the bookkeeping industry. AAPB Vision Our vision is to restore credibility back to the bookkeeping profession and provide the appropriate support to our members. AAPB Mission Our mission is to lobby, develop and provide the bookkeeping industry with an Australian recognised qualification, the Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping). AAPB will provide our members with: • An Australian recognised Bookkeepers Management Standard; • A recognised bookkeepers skills assessment; • Recognised bookkeepers continuous professional development training; • A centralised library of information specifically tailored to our members needs and understanding; • Opportunity to network and discuss technical issues; and, • To support our members’ individual needs.
