RISE
A new initiative to growing your business

The true secret to success are your Expectations.

If you don't believe, then why do you expect anyone else to!

Our Proud Supporters
Growing a Positive Business

We believe there are a few important steps towards growing your business that every person can do.  It just takes a little effort, a healthy attitude, belief in what you are doing, positive behaviour and setting the right expectation!

Focus

The secret is to know what to focus on.

The goal in business is to provide a product and service your customer wants, needs, enjoys and is willing to pay for.

Sounds simple, yet we still find businesses only focusing on the sell of the product.  They have missed the point that the customers experience of purchasing the product is just as important as the purchase.

Word of mouth is a very powerful way to grow your business. A good experience can led to new customers.  A bad experience can send you broke.  So make sure your customer walks away with a positive message to tell all their friends.

They can only say no, but they might say yes.  So ASK!

Statistics tell us that cold calling has 1% chance of success, being referred has 15% chance of success, a personal introduction by a trusted person has 50% chance of success and having the trusted person attend the meeting with you is 80% chance of success.  So why take a 1% chance at success when you can have an 80% chance.

Dont be fooled, business is a gamble, so lets strengthen the odds.  When you want to meet someone that you believe will help you grow your business, ask your family, friends, colleagues or anyone you meet if they know this person and would they introduce you.  The secret is you have to ask.  They can only say no, but they might say yes.  But remember there is an important rule for asking a favour.  YOU MUST RETURN THE FAVOUR.

IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO HELP ANOTHER THAN DONT EXPECT SOMEONE TO HELP YOU.

Taste

Getting to the meeting is one thing, leaving a good taste is another.

The purpose of the meeting is to grow your business, so be conscious of your behaviour.  Please and thank you go a long way and so does a smile, well groomed appearance and well prepared communication.

Remember you represent the person who introduced you.
Be respectful to the person who introduced you and the person you are meeting by being on time. If running late, be courteous and let them know. Be efficient by knowing your facts and effective with clear and concise communication. Be honest and open minded, you may be very surprised how tuned in people are with their senses and how they make their decisions.

In short, demonstrate your gratitude for the opportunity to meet by, presenting a positive, well groomed, enthusiastic, polite and knowledgeable person. It is considered rude to not be prepared.

A wise person starts and finishes on the right foot not on the back foot.
